Altar of Remembrance

by Johnson Bowie
In key moments of the past, God instructed His people to build what’s called “an altar of remembrance.” There is power in remembering His faithfulness and living from a place of gratitude! He’s done wonders and miracles in each of our lives—delivering, restoring, and making a way where there was no way. The year 2024 marks 34 years of Victory in Jesus, and we’re overwhelmed by His goodness. Tune in as we worship our King, reflect on the years, and celebrate!
Sermon Notes

Joshua 4:4-7 NIV
So Joshua called together the twelve men he had appointed from the Israelites, one from each tribe, and said to them, “Go over before the ark of the Lord your God into the middle of the Jordan. Each of you is to take up a stone on his shoulder, according to the number of the tribes of the Israelites,to serve as a sign among you. In the future, when your children ask you, ‘What do these stones mean?’ tell them that the flow of the Jordan was cut off before the ark of the covenant of the Lord. When it crossed the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan were cut off. These stones are to be a memorial to the people of Israel forever.”

Acts 1:8 NIV
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
