Unfortunately, we’ve normalized this struggle as something to tolerate, not overcome.  During this breakout session, we will look beyond bad behavior and dive into the heart to discover and overcome what is sabotaging our influence, success, and purpose.

Money & Wisdom – Javon Legons & Panel

As men, sometimes it feels more challenging than it should to keep our heads above water when it comes to our money. Student debt, unexpected expenses, and previous bad decisions all have a negative effect on enjoying life today. Fortunately, God has a better way, and he has freely shared it with us. In this breakout, a panel of men with decades of financial experience and expertise will answer some of your questions and discuss how wise biblical and financial principles have made a difference in their lives.

Our role as husband, father, gatekeeper, and guide provides Christian men ample opportunities to choose between the urgent and important. We are the most influential voice in the lives of our families. What we do with the time we have with our kids and spouse is crucial as we lead them through the decisions of life. Join our facilitated panel of fathers and husbands as we have an honest discussion about identity, purpose, and legacy.

• It’s My Time to Activate My Faith: Let’s Turn It On and Amp It Up!

As a man, it’s so easy to fall into the trap of comparing ourselves to others as a way of “measuring up” areas in our lives. Our faith is no exception. “Why can he hear from God so clearly?” “Everything seems to work out for that guy; why is he so blessed?” It’s so easy to ask questions like these when we don’t feel God’s power pumping through our veins. But the truth is, we have the same Holy Spirit power in our bodies as Jesus himself to do miracles on the earth! Join us for this session to learn how to knock off the R.U.S.T. of our faith and walk out of this session different than you walked in, with practical applications of how to manifest the Word in YOUR life. Let’s turn it on and amp it up!

Our chef will demonstrate the following:

• Selecting the perfect steak for outdoor grilling or inside kitchen
• The temperature
• Seasoning your steak
• Overview of various methods (Grill, Pan-Searing, Sous-Vide)
• Overview of how to prepare two famous sauces (garlic butter & creamy mushroom sauce) 
• Small samples of each cooking style with sauces
