Exodus 24:3 NIV
When Moses went and told the people all the Lord’s words and laws, they responded with one voice, “Everything the Lord has said we will do.”
Hearing God begins with believing He speaks.
John 10:4-5, 27 NIV
“… his sheep follow him because they know HIS VOICE. But they will never follow a STRANGER; in fact, they will run away from him because they do not recognize a stranger’s voice… My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.”
Greek for “WORD”
Logos – Written Word of God
Rhema – Spoken Word of God
Romans 10:17 NKJV
So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word [Rhema] of God.

And every member has been given divine gifts to contribute to the growth of all; and as these gifts operate effectively throughout the whole body, we are built up and made perfect in love [USING OUR GIFTS].
We Hear God’s Word TOGETHER to:
- Be Equipped
- Be United
- Receive Revelation
- Be Matured
- Be Anchored
- Become Loving
- Become Authentic
- Use our Gifts

“Be diligent to understand the meaning behind everything you hear, for as you do, more understanding will be given to you. And according to the depth of your longing to understand, much more will be added to you. For those who listen with open hearts will receive more revelation. But those who don’t listen with open hearts will lose what little they think they have!”

But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves. For if you listen to the word and don’t obey, it is like glancing at your face in a mirror. You see yourself, walk away, and forget what you look like. But if you look carefully into the perfect law that sets you free, and if you do what it says and don’t forget what you heard, then God will bless you for doing it.

This is not the time to pull away and neglect meeting together, as some have formed the habit of doing. In fact, we should come together even more frequently, eager to encourage and urge each other onward as we anticipate that day dawning.
