The Meaning of Christmas:
- A new hope for a better world
ISAIAH 9:6-7 NIV
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will
be on his shoulders. And he will be called WONDERFUL
COUNSELOR, MIGHTY GOD, EVERLASTING FATHER, PRINCE
OF PEACE. Of the greatness of his government and peace there will
be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom,
establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that
time on and forever. The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish
this. - I can now understand how valuable people are to God.
1 PETER 1:18-19 NLT
For you know that God paid a ransom to save you from the empty life
you inherited from your ancestors. And it was not paid with mere gold
or silver, which lose their value. It was the precious blood of Christ,
the sinless, spotless Lamb of God. - Nothing is impossible with God.
MARK 9:23 NKJV
… “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”
