What is Discover Victory?
Discover Victory is our three-part experience designed to help you grow in your relationship with God, become a member of Victory, and serve the kingdom with your God-given gifts.
Why Discover Victory?
As you take the step to discover more about Victory, and about your God-given gifts, our hope is that you feel confident to make Victory your home and allow God to bring fulfillment to your life through serving others. Click the button below to view upcoming session dates.
Session 1 — Discover
You’ll discover more about the heart of Victory, what we believe, and the vision God has given us. We’ll also help you learn more about your unique, God-given spiritual gifts and the ministries that could be the best fit for you.
Session 2 — Join
You’ll learn more about salvation, our beliefs, what it means to worship God with your tithes and offerings, and more. We’ll share everything you need to know to prayerfully consider membership at Victory.
Session 3 — Serve
You’ll have the opportunity to connect with the ministry that best fits your unique gifts, talents and abilities, and then sign up with a team where you can grow and serve others!

Get started with Discover Victory in 4 easy steps.
Completion of Discover Victory is required before serving at Victory. Sessions 1 and 2 must be completed prior to attending Session 3. We highly recommend going through weeks one through three consecutively.

Sort your sessions by location, and then select your desired session. Click “Register” to continue the registration process.

If you already have an account, simply enter your email address and password to log in. If you don’t have an account yet, creating one is quick and easy! Click “Register” and provide a few details, and you’ll be all set!

FAQ
Who has to go through Discover Victory?
Anyone who would like to become a member of Victory or serve on a ministry team must complete Discover Victory. We also invite anyone who wants to learn more about our church and our church family to join us for Discover Victory.
Do I need to complete Discover Victory to become a member of Victory Church?
Yes, this is our pathway to membership. Also, serving is a core principle of discipleship. So, as members, we follow Jesus’ example in using our God-given gifts to love others through serving on ministry teams. We believe He designed you in a unique way that will bless others and give Him glory!
What if I’m already a member of Victory Church?
If you’re a member who is already serving, you do not have to complete Discover Victory. If you’re a member who wants to start serving, you will be routed through Discover Victory to sign up for a ministry serve team.
How old do I have to be to take Discover Victory and become a member?
You must be at least 13 years old to participate in Discover Victory and become a member of Victory Church.
Do I have to participate in Discover Victory if I’m already serving?
- Are you a member of Victory Church?
- If you’re already a member and already serving, you do not have to complete Discover Victory.
- If you’re serving but not yet a member, we would like you to complete Discover Victory to grasp the heart of what God is doing through this house as well as to discover any gifts and talents you may not have been using at their highest potential.
- All leaders are expected to complete Discover Victory so that we all lead with one vision in mind.
What if I am already serving but now want to serve on a different team?
- If you are not yet a member of Victory Church, please sign up for Discover Victory.
- Have you completed Discover Victory and/or are already a member of Victory Church?
- If yes, sign into your Victory account, go to your profile, and click on “Request a New Serve Role.”
How do I sign up to serve in a ministry that isn’t covered in Discover Victory?
- If you identify a ministry or serving area that is not covered in Discover Victory, connect with a Discover Victory leader or the Connections Pastor for your campus. They will guide you through next steps.
May I sign up to serve in more than one area?
- While we recommend serving wholeheartedly on one ministry serve team, you may sign up to serve on two teams.
What if I can only serve once a month?
- We understand that limitations exist. If you’re able to serve less frequently, we suggest connecting with a serve team leader to discuss your availability.
What is PCO and what if I need to make a change to my serving schedule?
- Planning Center Online (PCO) is the software we use when scheduling our serve teams. This is where you will accept or decline your team schedule for the month. You may also select blackout dates for when you may be out of town and unable to serve. Once you sign up to serve, managing your schedule in PCO becomes an important responsibility to ensure that the team is covered, and that those we are serving feel welcome and cared for.
What if my background check comes back flagged?
- We know that our past does not define us. Someone from our staff will connect with you to learn more about your specific situation and how to best move forward.
Do I need to complete Discover Victory in 1-2-3 order?
- Sessions 1 and 2 must be completed prior to attending Session 3. You may complete Sessions 1 and 2 in any order; however, we highly recommend completing the sessions in consecutive order.
What if I miss one of the Discover Victory sessions?
Please register for the next available session. Keep in mind that you may only complete Session 3 after completing Sessions 1 and 2.
