Career Mentoring

God has intentionally placed gifts and talents within each of us to use for His glory—and that includes our work! We have assembled a group of “reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others” (2 Timothy 2:2). If you feel like you aren’t moving forward in your career, or want to change careers altogether, we invite you to take the next steps below.

We’re Here To Help – Sign Up for Mentoring

Our mentors are available to offer you biblical and practical guidance from the years of wisdom and expertise they’ve gained along the way. They’ve walked a similar path and want to provide you with tools to get where God is leading you.

Follow the steps below to be matched with a mentor, learn from their experience, and move forward in your career!

What To Expect

You and your mentor will meet either in person or online at a frequency you determine together during your first session.  Engagements may be short-term or long-term and may include the following types of interactions:

  • Answers to specific career-oriented questions (1 -2 sessions)
  • Assistance developing an updated resume or interview coaching (3 – 4 sessions)
  • Accountability to maintain short/mid-term career goals (2 – 4 sessions)
  • Guidance to navigate career changes (2 – 4 sessions)

Next Steps

Step 1

Identify your career goals and current skillsets (which could include target roles, job descriptions, and a current resume). Career Mentors desire 3-5 goals and supplemental documentation as a baseline for your first coaching session.

Complete the Mentoring Profile form and email your supplemental documents (to fyp@victoryatl.com) which provides us with background information on your current situation.

Step 3

Schedule an appointment with a Career Mentor by selecting “In-Person Career Mentoring” or “Virtual Career Mentoring”.  Completion of Step 2 is required prior to scheduling your initial coaching session.

Meet with your Career Mentor, providing transparency and commitment regarding your career situation.
