Parent & Child Dedication Course
1 Day
In-person
Free
At Victory, we hold Parent & Child Dedication Services quarterly throughout the year. To help parents feel encouraged and prepared, participation in the dedication service requires that parents attend a short course. The course is designed to walk alongside parents, answer questions, and help remind them that they are not alone in this journey.
**Note: Parent & Child Dedication services are for active Victory Members only.
Parent & Child Dedication is a meaningful celebration for families with children ages birth through five. This ceremony is about saying, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” This special moment allows parents to publicly express their desire to raise their children with faith, love, and intention, surrounded by their church family.
If both parents plan to participate in the dedication service, both parents are required to attend the course. At least one parent must be an active member of Victory Church in order to participate in the Parent & Child Dedication Service. You may check your child into children’s ministry, as you participate.
Our heart is to partner with you during this season and help you feel supported, informed, and encouraged as you take this meaningful step with your family.
A Note for Single Parents
This dedication is for you and your child, too.
We know every family story looks different, and we want you to know you are seen, supported, and valued here. Whether you are parenting alongside a spouse or faithfully walking this road on your own, God’s grace is present, and His strength is with you.
Parent & Child Dedication is simply a way of saying, “God, I want You to be part of our family story.” We would be honored to partner with you, pray with you, and support you as you raise your child in faith, hope, and love.
What to Expect
The Parent & Child Dedication Course is a one-hour experience designed to help you prepare your heart and your family for the dedication. The course takes place the week prior to the dedication service. Registration is required. Materials will be provided.
During our time together, you can expect moments of reflection, guided discussion, and practical encouragement as we talk through the meaning of dedication and what it looks like to intentionally lead your child in faith. There will be space to ask questions, engage in conversation, and gain clarity so you feel confident and prepared for the Parent & Child Dedication Service.
