Hebrews 11:1-2 MSG
The fundamental fact of existence is that this trust in God, this faith, is the
firm foundation under everything that makes life worth living. It’s our handle
on what we can’t see. The act of faith is what distinguished our ancestors,
set them above the crowd.
Hebrews 11:1 NKJ
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not
seen.
Hebrews 4:2 NKJ
For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word
which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who
heard it.
Hebrews 11:3 NKJ
By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so
that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.
Hebrews 11:6 NKJ
But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God
must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently
seek Him.
Three Important Principles of Faith:

  1. The Revelation of “Who He Is”.
You either have a history of believing God or a history of forgetting God!
The moment you begin to question the existence of God is the moment you
    begin to descend into defeat!
  2. He is a rewarder of those “who diligently seek Him”.
“There’s something about God that will pass over 1,000 people in hopes to
get to one person in faith.” – Smith Wigglesworth

Three Things to Build a Correct Image of God in Your Life:

  1. God works good in all things for you.
    Romans 8:28 NKJ
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to
those who are the called according to His purpose.
  2. God will provide all things.
    Romans 8:31-32 NKJ
What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against
us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how
shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?
  3. God will conquer all things.
    Romans 8:35-37 NKJ
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress,
or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written:
“For Your sake we are killed all day long; we are accounted as sheep for the
slaughter.” Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him
    who loved us.

Three Important Principles of Faith:

  1. Nothing is impossible if you can believe.
    Mark 9:23 NKJ
Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who
    believes.”
    Matthew 17:19-20 NKJ
Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, “Why could we not cast
it out?” So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say
to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain,
‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for
    you.”
