The Number Four – The Four Pillars of Victory
Acts 1:8 NKJ
“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon
you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea
and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
The Number Ten – The 10 Qualities of a Disciple
Matthew 28:19 NKJ
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in
the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit…
10 Qualities of a Disciple:

  1. Passionately committed to Jesus
  2. Sensitive and submitted to the Holy Spirit
  3. Lives morally pure
  4. Evaluates life according to Biblical standards
  5. Dedicated to a healthy family
  6. Embraces cultural reconciliation
  7. Engages in Biblical community
  8. Committed to living a missional life
  9. Evangelistically bold
  10. Socially purposeful and responsible
The Number Zero – Becoming Nothing – Humility
    Matthew 23:11-12 NKJ
But he who is greatest among you shall be your servant. And
whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself
    will be exalted.
    Philippians 2:5-11 NKJ
Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in
the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but
made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and
coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a
man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death,
even the death of the cross. Therefore God also has highly exalted
Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the
name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of
those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue
should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the
    Father.

3 Practical Ways To Serve:

  1. Home
    1 Timothy 3:4-5 ESV
He must manage his own household well, with all dignity keeping his
children submissive, for if someone does not know how to manage
his own household, how will he care for God’s church?
  2. Job
    Colossians 3:23-24 NKJ
And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men,
knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the
inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.
  3. Church
    Isaiah 40:31-32 NKJ
But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall
mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary,
they shall walk and not faint.
    Matthew 18:3 NKJ
And said, “Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and
become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of
    heaven.”
