God’s Plan for Sex

Proverbs 17:17 NLT
“A friend is always loyal, and a brother is born to help in time of need.” 

Proverbs 7:17-18 NLT
“I’ve perfumed my bed with myrrh, aloes, and cinnamon. Come, let’s drink our fill of love until morning. Let’s enjoy each other’s caresses.” 

Sex within marriage is a beautiful gift from God. Sex outside of marriage is a dangerous trap from the enemy.

“‘God made them male and female’from the beginning of creation. This explains why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one.’Since they are no longer two but one, let no one split apart what God has joined together.”

Matthew 5:27-30 NLT

Within marriage, sex should be a gift and a priority for both spouses.

God is calling us to uphold His timeless values about sex in a world that is rapidly abandoning them.

Romans 12:2 NLT
“Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.”

Sexual sin brings baggage, but Jesus brings freedom and forgiveness.
