For No Reason

by James Meeks
The idea of someone loving you despite all your flaws can be hard to comprehend or fully embrace. And yet, every single day, God extends His love, mercy, and grace toward each of us—not because of anything we’ve done but simply because of who He is. Tune in as we dive deeper into this timely message by Pastor Meeks to learn more about the beauty of God’s love and find encouragement as we journey to love others like Jesus.

  1. We Were All Crippled By A Fall
  1. God, For No Reason Chose Us

Ephesians 1:4-5 KJV

According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

  1. We Now Have The Ministry Of For No Reason

2 Corinthians 5:17-18

  17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

2 Corinthians 5:20

Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.

At some point in your life, you’ve likely heard the phrase, “Time is a gift.” But have you ever felt like you just didn’t have enough of it? How we manage time can either delay our destiny or propel us into our purpose—and God, in His kindness, has given us the beautiful gift of seasons to help us steward it well. He has written every chapter of our stories and already knows the end from the beginning and all the in-between. Time doesn’t stop and seasons are inevitable, but one thing is for sure: nothing is a surprise to God. Some seasons are expected and predictable, while others are abrupt and unprecedented. No matter what you may face in the tension of each transition, moment by moment, you can trust that God is always leading the way and extends His hand to meet you right where you are. Listen in as we celebrate the God of more than enough, who does miracles in the margin and makes everything beautiful in its time!
