Day 6 – Why We Read the Bible

Scripture
Psalm 119:105 NIV
“Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.”

Reflection
Let these questions guide your conversation with the Holy Spirit:

  • What “treasures” do I already have in my heart? Are any of them keeping me from truly valuing the Word of God?
  • In what ways am I treating Scripture as optional rather than essential?
  • What practical steps can I take to prioritize God’s Word in my daily life?
  • Am I approaching the Bible as an encounter with the living God or just another task? What is this passage teaching me about His character?
