When sin entered the Garden of Eden, we lost the perfect peace and security that we can find only in God’s presence. Unholiness cannot dwell with holiness. So, because of the curse, we lost unity with God. Our connection was severed, and we could no longer see Him face-to-face. We were made to know God, and as His children, nothing else in this world will ever satisfy. But we can rest and find hope in the promise that a day is coming when we will see His face and behold His glory!
