A House Of Prayer

by Dennis Rouse
Before there was any land owned, before more than 140 nations gathered, before there were multiple campuses, there were simply two people who felt God calling them to plant a church in Gwinnett County, Georgia. Through constant, earnest, faith-filled prayer—and most importantly, a faithful God—Victory Church was born. In this conversation, we reflect on the pivotal prayers our Founding Pastors, Dennis and Colleen Rouse, prayed as they answered the call to ministry. Tune in to find both encouragement and a challenge to continue living a lifestyle of fasted prayer, trusting the same God who is faithful to finish the good work He began in each of us.

Our vision is to be a house of prayer who fulfills Acts 1:8 by making disciples of Jesus through: building families, transforming communities, reconciling cultures and impacting nations.

John 15: 1-7 NIV
I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes[a] so that it will be even more fruitful. You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.

Let's Pray

As followers of Christ, we are called to live out the Great Commission and make disciples. If you believe in the mission God is accomplishing through this house, tune in to discover how you can partner with us to fulfill the vision He has given our church this year. Together, we’re stepping into faith-filled projects that are bigger than us—things that may feel impossible on our own, but are more than possible with God!
