Pause

Today’s the last day of 5 Days of Prayer & Fasting!

As we turn our attention to God today, we’re focusing on forgiving others in the way God has forgiven us. It’s important to remember that Jesus said He came to accomplish the law. He is the only one who has perfectly fulfilled what they require, which, in this case, is perfect forgiveness.

Forgiving others can be difficult at times. We only receive forgiveness from the Father by believing in Jesus.

So, what do you think Jesus means in these verses?

Matthew 6:14-15 NIV

“For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.”

Reflect

Ask God who you need to forgive. It is likely that the Holy Spirit brings at least one person to mind. With His help, seek to forgive whoever comes to mind as you pray.
