Day 3 – Why We Repent
Scripture
2 Peter 3:9 NIV
“The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead, he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.”
Reflection
As you reflect on today’s scripture, ask the Holy Spirit:
- How have I typically viewed repentance—out of fear, obligation, or love—and how is God inviting me to see it differently today?
- Where do I sense the kindness and patience of God drawing me back toward Him right now?
- Is there a struggle God is inviting me to bring into the light so that healing, prayer, and support can take place?
- Who is a trusted person God may be calling me to walk with as I pursue freedom and spiritual growth?
