A United Church

Like Jesus’ disciples, we are a people God has SENT, or commissioned and equipped, to share the Good News with the people around us. We are the Church, a movement of people called to operate in the same power that Jesus did—to be His witnesses wherever we go. But the people who were a part of the early church were only empowered because they were first committed to walking together. God blesses unity! So, why does it matter and how do we become and stay united? Tune in to hear from our senior and campus pastors on how Victory operates under one mission with multiple voices!

Acts 2:1-4 NIV
When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.

They all joined together constantly in prayer, along with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers.

All the believers were together and had everything in common.

Before the Church was a Spirit-EMPOWERED people, they were a Spirit-UNITED people.

RECONCILIATION always comes before REVIVAL.

Hebrews 10:24-25 NIV
And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity! It is like precious oil poured on the head, running down on the beard, running down on Aaron’s beard, down on the collar of his robe. It is as if the dew of Hermon were falling on Mount Zion. For there the Lord bestows his blessing, even life forevermore.
