Welcome New Believers
You’ve just made the best decision of your life by accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior—but what’s next!? How do you walk out your faith? Pastors Dennis and Colleen Rouse introduce this New Believers series, developed just for you, to help you move from simply believing to becoming a disciple of Jesus Christ.
NEW BELIEVERS GUIDE:
As a new believer, what’s next? Being a Christian is bigger than praying and asking God into your heart. Discover what your next steps should be in New Believers, a guide that will walk you through how to move from just believing in Jesus to becoming His disciple.
As new believers, it’s important to know that as we stay close to Jesus, He will lead us in the ways that we should go. It’s in this closeness that transformation takes place. Let’s talk about it…
Talking to God
What makes a relationship “work”? Communication. As with anyone, we build a strong relationship with God by communicating with Him. Let’s take a look at how to position our hearts to talk to Him with expectancy, knowing He hears us.
Listening to God
Lord, not my will, but Yours be done! Did you know the Bible is God’s will to His people? He has spoken yet speaks still! Let’s learn more about how to hear Him through His Word and listen for His voice in our lives.
We were made to connect with other people. Though many of us “connect” with others online, it is necessary to be in the building. Don’t miss the beauty of gathering with other believers and serving in church. Let’s discuss it!
It is not good for us to be alone—let’s get together! On the journey of following Jesus, we need others to help us along the path more intimately. Are you a part of a small group?
Sharing God With Others
If He did it for you, He can do it for them! Be a witness—be bold and talk about what Jesus has done in your life, so others may “taste and see that the Lord is good”! Let’s dive into the importance of sharing God with others.
