In 2003, following the end of the civil war, the Lord put a burden in John Yeedia’s heart for the under-privileged children of Liberia. The burden has resulted into a ministry called Hope Christian International Ministries.

In an effort to directly address the deplorable conditions of the children, Hope Christian International Ministries, Inc. launched its first and second mission trips to Liberia in 2006 and 2009 with the help of Victory World Church and Angel Food Ministries. The activities were Evangelism, Medical outreach, Feeding, and clothing distribution.

In May 2009, the ministry, through the generosity of God’s people, completed a 2.5 mile road leading to Mary’s village, the proposed mission site of Hope Christian International Ministries. To date, we have produced 4,000 building blocks towards the construction of a 12-Classroom Christian Elementary School for the children in the village. The Ministry also acquired 20 acres of donated land from the Elders of Timbo village.
