We moved to Atlanta in January 2008, knowing only a handful of people. It had been a while since we were connected to a church, and we found ourselves desiring to get connected to God and a faith-based community. We attended Victory's New Years Eve Service that January and found everything we were looking for. Coming from a small town in the south, we were inspired to see such a diverse church body.

We connected to a V•Group in February that had just started reading Dave Ramsey's Total Money Makeover. This Bible study changed our lives! We have since been working our way out of credit card debt and into a life of financial peace and freedom. We are so excited to be in a church where the pastor and small group leaders are not afraid to talk about managing money, and we can talk openly about our financial struggles.

We don't have family in the Atlanta area, but we have found a family in our V•Group. It is great to have a core group of people that have the same values, beliefs and even questions as we do. We have learned that life isn't meant to be done alone. It is so great to have a community to share it with.

Our focus has changed drastically over the past year and a half. God has really opened our eyes to truth and our purpose in this world. We look forward to what the future has in store for us! ~ Clyde & Amber Mulkey
