Aproximadamente 11 años atrás, yo vine a este país buscando desesperadamente una vida diferente ya que vivía consumido por el pecado. Pensé que el mudarme a un país diferente me ayudaría a encontrar "la felicidad y un propósito en mi vida." Lejos estaba yo de saber que el plan de Dios en mi vida era el de permitirme conocer a Jesucristo al traerme a este lugar, lo que cambiaria mi vida completamente!

Dios me ha bendecido de muchas maneras en este hermoso país, y más recientemente algo sucedió durante uno de los últimos servicios de "Thirst" que tuvimos acá en la iglesia algo que, en mi opinión, merece ser compartido pues habla más acerca del poder de Dios.

Yo soy uno de los muchos extranjeros que vino a este país esperando algún día obtener un estatus como Residente legal. En mi caso, mi proceso migratorio había estado pendiente por muchos años, lo cual no me daba otra opción que esperar y pedirle a la gente a mí alrededor que oraran por esta situación.

En Enero de este año, durante el segundo servicio de Thirst, el pastor Dennis nos indico a la congregación, que Dios empezaría a hablar a nuestros corazones ahí mismo, y así sucedió. Yo tuve una visión en la cual Jesús estaba a mi lado, sosteniendo algo en Sus manos. De repente, El abrió Sus manos y pude ver unos papeles que sostenía... Jesús dijo, "Aquí esta... es en Mi tiempo y no en el tuyo"

Al día siguiente, cuando llegue a mi oficina, encontré un correo electrónico de Migración que había sido enviado la noche anterior (la noche del domingo!!!) Este correo me informaba que mi Green Card había sido aprobada y enviada por correo!!!

Yo le doy la gloria al Señor por Su fidelidad y Su amor...y le agradezco a la gente que me animó con sus palabras y oró por esta situación.

La lección que aprendí: El es quien nos lo da todo (no es Migración), pero es en Su TIEMPO !!!

Almost 11 years ago, I came to this country desperate for a different way of life, since I was hopelessly consumed by sin. I thought that moving to a different country would help me find "happiness and a purpose in life." Little did I know that God's plan for my life back then was to introduce me to Jesus by bringing me to this place, changing my life forever!

God has blessed me ever since in many ways here in this beautiful country. Most recently, something happened during one of our last Thirst services at Victory that, in my opinion, is worth sharing since it taught me more about God's power.

I'm one of the many foreigners that came to this country hoping one day to obtain legal status as a US resident. In my case, my immigration process had been on pending status for years, and I had no other option but to wait and ask people around me to pray about it.

Back in January this year, during the second Thirst service, Pastor Dennis told the congregation that God was going to start speaking to our hearts right there, and so He did. I had a vision where Jesus was standing right next to me, and He was holding something in His hands. All of the sudden, He opened His hands, and I saw some papers He was holding. He then said to me, "Here it is... it's in My timing and not in yours."

The following day, when I got to my office, I found an email from Immigration that had been sent the night before (Sunday night!!!). The email was to inform me that my Green Card had been approved and mailed to me!!!

I praised the Lord for His faithfulness and His love...and I thank the people that encouraged me through their words and their prayers.

My lesson: He is the one who gives us everything (not Immigration) but it is in His TIMING !!!
