During the month of February, the Elementary Children's Ministry engaged in learning how to "Love Out Loud." Over the four weeks of the Love Month, each of the ministry classes in ElectroCity, Backyard Blvd., VeloCity, and the Avenue, collected, "Boxes of Blessings" filled, with items for the needy or homeless person. On March 8th, alongside the outreach ministry, 7 Bridges to Recovery, some 45 students and parents were able to hand deliver beautifully decorated boxes and supplies to the homeless and poor of Atlanta. The supplies were utilized as tools to open the door to hearts so that the real gospel could be received.

Children, parents and members of 7 Bridges visited various sites in downtown Atlanta, where they had the opportunity to pray for many people. Several people were led to Christ. What an outreach, and what an opportunity for our young people to experience - evangelism in its truest form! The experience opened the eyes and hearts of all who participated. Parents were surprised to see the open and giving hearts of the children towards the needy and homeless. The children were surprised to see the living conditions, or lack of living conditions, of people right here in their own city. Needless to say, lives were forever changed. Everyone agreed that we should plan to do more outreaches like this in the future.
