In the high-tech, low-touch culture
of America, many of us are searching for a place to belong. We wrestle
with issues of life such as relationships, money, self-discipline,
insecurity and fear in our search for peace and significance.
We
weren’t meant to walk through life alone; and true growth, spiritual
and personal, often take place in loving, supportive, grace-giving,
truth-telling relationships – like those found in V•Groups.
A
Victory V•Group is a small, safe group of people that will help you
grow as you do this thing called “life”. In V•Group, you’ll be able to
ask questions about your walk with Christ, participate in discussions
and learn how others have applied God’s Word in their lives to find
truth.
Life change happens when you take the time to connect
with people who really care about you. Sharing your stories, challenges
and victories allows others to see the real you and gives them
opportunities to help you get to that next level with God.
V•Groups
also provide a great way to give back to your community. Many of our
groups have adopted schools, served in nursing homes and hospitals and
hosted neighborhood block parties to reach out with the love of Jesus!
What are V•Groups?
"V•Groups" is the name of the Small Group Ministry of Victory World Church. Our V•Groups meet weekly in a variety of venues across Metro Atlanta and are a safe place for you to grow, change, get answers and become more like Jesus Christ.
Victory World Church has patterned itself after the Acts 2 church model and Acts 2:42 describes for us what these new Christians were doing and thinking at the time...
Acts 2:42-47: "And they were continuing steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine (reading and applying God's Word to their lives), and in fellowship (sharing what was happening in their lives), and in the breaking of the loaves (eating together), and in prayers (reaching out to God in prayer). And fear came on every soul. And many wonders and miracles took place through the apostles. And all who believed were together and had all things common. And they sold their possessions and goods and distributed them to all (helping the poor and needy), according as anyone had need. And continuing with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they shared food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people (doing life together). And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved."
