A Code of Honor

Honor to me means... privilege, credit, deference, reverence. Those are just some quick words that come to mind. As I think about it more, I have to admit, this same word has, in some respect, lost it's true meaning and (over time) become a little watered down. But, oh... how awesome it is when we actually remember the real beauty of the word, "Honor".

Let's take a look at the perspective that scripture provides about what it really means to be and give honor.
Because the LORD kept vigil that night to bring them out of Egypt, on this night all the Israelites are to keep vigil to honor the LORD for the generations to come.

Exodus 12:42
"Honor your father and mother. Then you will live a long time in the land the Lord your God is giving you.
Exodus 20:12
"The Lord lives! Give praise to my Rock! Give honor to God, the Rock! He is my Savior!
2 Samuel 22:47
We can see that the word honor has several very powerful, yet simple meanings. During the month of February, we will explore a few of these meanings and what God would love us to embrace about honor.

Nursery & Preschool

We are committed to providing a safe, loving, and spiritually sound atmosphere for our children. Each weekend, our exceptional teachers joyfully receive children in the nursery & preschool rooms, where they wholeheartedly minister to them in an age–appropriate fashion. Worship, music, snacks, storytelling and more are all part of the ministry your child will receive in our VicKids Nursery & Preschool classes.

Elementary

Do you have children ages 5K to 11 years? We'd be delighted to have them join us in our VicKids Elementary Ministry this weekend! They will enjoy animated praise and worship, as well as inspiring lessons that are relevant to their age group. They will learn what it means to love and serve Jesus and have a relationship Him.

Special Needs

Your child is welcome! At Victory, we believe that all children are created in God's image. Every child has value to God—and us!  We want to encourage your child with special needs to grow in an understanding of his or her value to God and to enjoy time with other children in an inclusive classroom setting or have one-on-one assistance in our current classroom environments.

Middle School

If you're in 6th - 8th grade, our 212° Middle School Ministry is custom–designed for you. As a part of this ministry, you'll enjoy interactive live worship, games, fellowship, and more! You will learn relevant information about common concerns among your generation, as well as solutions to many of the problems we all face.

Our services are held Saturday evenings in V1 The Zone at 6:30pm and in the V2 facility on Sunday mornings at 10:30AM and 12:30AM.

High School

If you're in grades 9–12, then our 212° High School Ministry is just for you! Through 212°, you will enjoy high-impact services, life-changing small groups, and various social activities and projects held throughout the year. In addition, you will develop godly, lasting friendships with others, as well as an intimate relationship with Christ. Our services are held in the V2 facility on Sundays at 6PM. Come check it out for yourself! We look forward to seeing you there.
